Product
A distinctive expression of Colombian specialty coffee, created by bringing together two separately co-fermented coffees from Huila. One component is developed with orange, while the other brings a tropical fruit-driven fermentation profile. Combined after processing, the two coffees create a cup that we found remarkably floral and reminiscent of rose water. The cup opens with delicate rose-like aromatics, followed by the bright sweetness of mandarin orange and the juicy character of lychee. Beneath the floral and tropical notes is a soft sweetness that gives the coffee a smooth and elegant structure. Rather than relying on a single fermentation to define the cup, this blend brings together two different expressions of co-fermented coffee to create a more layered sensory experience. The result is a vibrant, aromatic coffee where floral character meets citrus and tropical fruit, offering a profile that is both expressive and surprisingly elegant.

Finca Río Negro

Located in Acevedo, Huila, Finca Río Negro is a small family-run coffee farm led by third-generation producer Jhon Fredy Rodríguez Cortés. The farm has a long family history in coffee production and has increasingly focused on specialty coffee and differentiated processing. With a relatively small production area, Río Negro focuses on developing carefully selected microlots and experimenting with fermentation techniques to explore new expressions of Colombian coffee. Its coffees include Pink Bourbon and other varieties processed through a range of controlled fermentation and co fermentation methods.
